Sugar Division

The Sugar Division has been supplying the beet and cane sugar mills and refineries around the world with the highest performing and most reliable batch and continuous centrifugals for 90 years. Western States is known world-wide for its reputation in handling all types of massecuite and delivering robust equipment - in fact, many of our centrifugals have been in operation for more than 50 years. Our design team continues to improve our centrifugals in terms of performance, reliability, and cost reduction.

Ever since the first ROBERTS™ centrifugals were produced more than half a century ago, Western States has been known for manufacturing robust, high-performance centrifugals. Today more than 6,000 centrifugals have been installed world-wide.

Western States manufactures both batch type and continuous type centrifugals for processing all grades of sugar. Western States centrifugals are used in both the beet and cane sugar industries, as well as other non-sucrose applications such as dextrose and fructose manufacturing.

Introduced in the early 1990's, the TITAN line of batch and continuous centrifugals continues the Western States tradition of robust design and efficient operation. The TITAN line of centrifugals combines modern manufacturing techniques with new alloys, advanced variable frequency drive technology, state-of-the-art PLC controls and touch screen operator interfaces to make the TITAN line of centrifugals Western States' most efficient and cost-effective centrifugal available today.
